NRPA 2018 Indianapolis

NRPA 2018 was held in Indianapolis on Septemeber 25-27, 2018 and PlayMax arrived well rested, geared up and raring to go with our newest tires - playground rubber that is!

Indy was a great opportunity to meet up with old friends, a few rookies, our vendors and valuable clients all under one roof.  Our piano key Maxitron sensors were a hit with the fine tuners in this years' lineup.

PLAYMAX NEWS AND EVENTS

PlayMax attended the CPRS, California Park and Recreation Society Tradeshow March 9 & 10, 2016 held at the Long Beach Convention Center.  CPRS is an annual event and is a great opportunity to catch up with friends, clients and business associates throughout the region.

Many municipal Parks and Recreation representatives throughout California and the West attend the CPRS tradeshow each year, and it is a great gathering of current park and recreation minds, education, methods and practices.   PlayMax supports the CPRS and we are active members of this great organization.

Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas was the location of the 2015 NRPA show.  PlayMax attended this annual event.

NRPA is a great opportunity to keep up in all the latest trends and new equipment on the market.  For PlayMax, this is an invaluable resource for us to keep up with all the new play systems and park features we provide surfacing beneath.

The Sacramento CPRS show was selected for the roll out of SoundMax® March 1st and 2nd 2017 at the Sacramento Convention Center. 

SoundMax® is an interactive audio game tower which produces fun sounds when kids play around the unit. Hidden within the surfacing are sensors that trigger sounds from within the SoundMax® tower.  Available in a rainbow of fun colors, SoundMax® may also be color-matched to surrounding equipment.

Back In 1948, playground surfacing was in its infancy, with a couple manufacturers of rubber mats making things happen.  Today, there is an entire industry of surfacing companies such as PlayMax, all devoted to promoting safety while on the playground.

CPRS 2017 Sacramento

CalRecycle leads the way in promoting companies that use recycled tire technology in the production of products, materials and processes.  At PlayMax, we use tire rubber (SBR) in the cushion layers of our playground surfacing systems.  

This year, CalRecycle released the California Tire-Derived Product Catalog, which features a great section on PlayMax and our many high-quality systems.  We are honored to have the association with CalRecycle.  Click here to view.

SOUNDMAX ROLLOUT 2017

The Big Easy, New Orleans Louisiana was the scene for the 2017 NRPA show.  PlayMax was there - although adjusting to the relaxed Louisiana lifestyle takes a few days for us following our departure from busy Southern California.

The weather was good, the food was excellent, and so was the opportunity to meet with friends, vendors and reps at the laid back New Orleans Convention Center, just a stones throw from the French Quarter.  Good Times!
